Trust before traffic.
These standards apply to every guide, recommendation, commercial relationship and correction published by Plainly Lived.
Evidence and claims
Material factual claims should be supported by peer-reviewed research, systematic reviews, government guidance or other authoritative primary sources. Sources appear near the relevant discussion or in a clearly labelled evidence section. Important limitations, conflicts and mixed findings are stated plainly.
Experience and expertise
The publication never claims first-hand testing, professional qualifications or personal experience that did not occur. Editorial suggestions are identified as suggestions. Health, legal and financial boundaries are made clear.
Commercial independence
Affiliate links, sponsorships, gifts and other incentives are disclosed before they can influence a reader. Payment does not guarantee coverage or a favourable conclusion. No-purchase and lower-cost alternatives remain part of the editorial decision.
Corrections
Substantive errors are corrected promptly. Relevant articles receive an updated review date or correction note when a change could affect a reader’s decision.
